I'm sorry for the silly questions but would really appreciate your help.

Would like use Forscan to make changes to the audio in my 2017 Ford F150 SC truck.

I need to download the software and obtain a license for it (free)

The software runs on Windows? In order to communicate with my truck do I need some time of module or can it communicate via blue tooth on my computer?

yes, you need a laptop or windows tablet that will let you install the forscan software. Yes, it's free. You'll need an appropriate adapter (bluetooth or USB) to talk between the truck and computer.

That's the one i ordered and it works for forscan. I already did the autofold mirrors and added heated\cool seats and heated steering wheel icons to Sync 3.

 

I have a 2018 Platinum on order and have been reading the manual. The manual states that the heated steering wheel is activated on the Sync screen.

How did you activate it prior to your FORScan mod?
