I installed a trailer brake downloaded the 2month forscan but it keeps telling me it can’t Id vehicle. It is tuned so I enter the pcm part number like it asks and still says it can’t Id vehicle. I couldn’t register on the site because they have that part shut down due to Russia is that the issue? I’m using the elm27 cord recommended on the site so I doubt that’s it.

It sounds like you have comm settings wrong in forscan.

thanks I'll check it out when I get home. I was kinda let down when i realized they currently won't let you register there are a lot of things i'd like to learn with it.

 

Others have had this issue, best bet is to return the truck to stock with your tuner, make your changes and flash your tune again

 

well task one down however now it says there is a fault I have the fuse box is good not only that it changed everything to metric and my truck thinks the trailer is connected any thoughts?

Edit: figured the miles out but why am I getting this fault?

 

 

I’ve reloaded stock tune I can change things now however still getting the trailer brake fault and now can’t select drive mode. I went back to version 2.3.22 that I have seen that works but still have this issue now it’s worse because no driver mode wth am I doing wrong

 

After fighting this thing blindly for 2 days figured it out. Had a blown fuse. Shocker and after the drive to the parts store for the fuse drive modes are back
