Default Forscan connection issues HELP!

It keeps stopping here. I’m still on step one just trying to save all profiles

I always connect a battery charger when using FORScan. I find if I don't, after several minutes I get a error message indicating low voltage. Nothing wrong with my battery and this has happened since the truck was new. Maybe that will help you get past this and your other problem.

If you have a switch on the ELM device it needs to be flipped to the other position.

I would buy an OBDLink Ex cable... works perfect and no switch to flip.
