Haha, I just started my truck from my ecobee4 thermostat that's integrated with my Alexa. Don't really see the benefit over starting it with my phone, key fob or Alexa for that matter but I just started a truck with a thermostat....Interesting times. Thanks for the heads up!

This is awesome. I seen this last night and got everything set up. This morning after getign out of the shower I started to get dressed and was buttoning my shirt.
Alexa tell Fordpass to start my truck. She prompts for my passcode. I say it and continue getting ready.

Voice commands are awesome.
Get dressed and ready to go to find a nice warm truck in 6 degree weather.

Does yours have Sync connect?

Yes, you need Sync Connect for all the ford pass features and the Ford Pass App. If you do not have it then none of this will work for you. Sync Connect means your truck is connected to the internet through a 4g modem inside the truck. So anywhere there is cell service your truck is connected. This way other apps and so and can communicate with it.

Sync connect allows you to always find your truck and where you parked, you can lock and unlock the doors from your phone. See gas level, se about how many mile you can go etc. Alexa is just an added bonus. Not sure how it would work without Sync Connect because your truck needs an internet connection. I suppose it could use the wifi if your truck is at your house and in range of your router and you have wifi set up. But you would need to be in range.
