I have a 2017 explorer that wont seem to update from version 2.0. It is always parked overnight within wifi but it just searches and searches for update and never actually updates. Is this new version released today?

I've got a 2013 F150 Platinum with the Sync MFT. I've read about a few people doing a conversion from MFT to the Sync 3 with new screen/apim. I tried searching the forums but my search-fu isn't that great apparently, is there a thread here that deals with this topic? I'm hoping to find part numbers that I can hunt down the pieces on my own because current pre-assembled kits are $2000+ from what I've seen and that's a bit ludicrous.

OP, thanks for the heads up, I just checked my 2016, and it updated from 1.0 to 2.2, and I did nothing.
The press notice said that if you have a Wi-Fi connection before you shut off the truck, it will continue the download.
Apparently mine did, because I did not even hear of the update before today. Good job, Ford.

On the document posted below, next to last paragraph on the first page...states that some vehicles with v2.0 will only be updated at the dealership.
