Default Ford Perimeter Plus Install

I ordered the perimeter plus from Tasca ford. I installed it and it doesn't seem to be working. I have searched and most websites say it is plug and play, but others say it has to be dealer activated. I am unable to download the installation instructions from the websites listed on the box as they either don't work, or are dealer login only. I have it plugged in and mounted properly, I just would like someone who has installed the perimeter plus to chime in and let me know if they had to have it activated. Attached is a picture of the box with the part number, and the instructions on how to get the instructions.

I installed the same in my 16 XLT last week. It was plug and play. No configuration required. The only thing I needed to do was turn down the sensitivity dial slightly, so that it wouldn't go into full alarm mode after a light hit on the skin of the truck.

I had the sensitivity as high as it would go, I locked the truck and could not get the alarm to go off. I'm not sure what is wrong.

If you have the window open when you lock it, can you reach inside and open the door?

On mine, security mode prevented opening the door.

I installed the shock sensor on my 2016 and it was plug and play to the factory alarm. But this looks like a complete base alarm with remotes. You're signature says you have a 2013, you might want to see what folks in that forum say.

Does your F150 have the basic alarm from the factory? If not, it needs to be enabled. If you have the basic alarm from the factory the only additional feature you get with this installed is a shock sensor.
