Just purchased a new truck. During the financing, I think the guy swindled me into buying this plan that would "fix anything forever plus oil changes" forever. I normally dont do this but was in a rush at the time. Looking at the papers its for 2 yrs @ $460.00. Anyone know if I can call them and cancel this ? Its only been a week and 3 days.

 

I thought that if canceled, maintenance and coverage plans were just cost prorated back to what was left, but why not just call them and find out?

 

i think i got swindled as well. they kept me waiting a couple hours saying others were ahead of me. By the time i got to the office, i just wanted to leave and agreed to whatever to get out. Left the dealer close to 11pm. They knew I already wanted the truck

 

Call and cancel it--Simple

 

I called and canceled my extended warranty through the dealership when I refinanced through my bank. They will send you a prorated amount back. Two different things, but I’m sure it works the same. The banks extended warranty blew them out of the water.
