Ford ESP
Does anyone know if I can get ESP on a 2017 f150 with 40k miles. The factory warranty is expired and the dealer said that I could no longer get ESP and offered to sell me their aftermarket plan. It seems ok but I’ve always liked the reliability of the Ford ESP.
You can buy a Ford ESP directly from Ford, or from any Ford dealer. Run a search on the subject in this group and you will find the names of a couple dealers that sell the ESP at a very good price. One would think they all follow the same rules, but it wouldn't hurt to ask corporate and/or a different dealer to see if they can sell you the Ford ESP at your mileage and age.
I would never buy an aftermarket ESP. They have a reputation for putting a lot of loopholes in the fine print so they don't have to cover repairs, and who knows if that company will be around in a year or two years to pay a claim. I'm not a fan of ESPs in general but I do have the Ford ESP on my current truck, simply because it has so many more electronic sensors and functions compared to previous generations.

Zeigler Ford offers ESPs. You'll have to print a form from their website and take the truck in for an inspection since its outside of the 36k mile warranty.
My 2018 is going in for its inspection on Tuesday then I'll be buying the warranty through Zeigler if everything passes.
