So get it rebuilt, now with the latest and greatest parts, and you think you will have more transmission problems why? I'd welcome the rebuild, then literally go on down the road expecting the transmission is now in great shape.

Because plenty of people have had Jim-Bob at the local Ford dealership rebuild their transmission only to have similar or repeat issues when they rebuilt it wrong, or didn't flush the old fluid out of the cooler, or it sat there for months waiting for parts.

Blue Certified isn’t that much at all, Gold certified is the one that gets you a much longer powertrain warranty and a cheaper extended warranty.

Have the dealer fill out a used vehicle Insp form for Zeigler and buy an extended warranty if you are that worried about it.

i was in a similar predicament but I found a 3 year old gold certified so I didn’t have to worry about it.

Blue certified is worth f--k all. Gold certified is what you want. Hopefully youre under the mileage warranty to have it worked on, otherwise enjoy your truck.
