When I attempt to remotely manage my truck, the app fails to function.
when attempting to start it, I receive
Warning! Vehicle failed to start
Also similar messages for locking and unlocking doors

any ideas??

 

There's been a couple of threads on this. My FordPass just lost all functions, had to go to the website, log in and confirm the vehicle and suddenly it all started working again.
Some have had to delete the app and reinstall it.

 

When this happens to me I turn my phone off the back on and all is well.

 

That's odd so many people are having such a hard time.

The first time I said "ok google, Ask Ford Pass to start my truck" it automatically prompted me to log in by a web page and linked the app with Google and then I created the routines. My phone is a Galaxy Note 20 if that matters

 

The majority of the time, people blame the truck when it's the app or the phone OS getting updated.
