Hey guys, I just bought a new 2017 f150 lariat. I was in an airplane the other day and I was using the try table, and i thought a similar idea in our fords would be awesome as a laptop mount. I attached some photos, but basically i want to build this exact setup and put in on the passenger side in that cubby beside the console. When i want to use my laptop, ill just unfold it out of the cubby like in an airplane, but i can still put it away afterwards. I know there is some products similar to this out there, but they seem really bulky and not useful if you have passengers often. Does anyone have any ideas where i could buy something like this, or how i could go about building my own without looking too cheap.

There are lots of options if you Google: F150 docking station. There are A LOT of readily available fleet solutions you can probably use/adapt.

 

Most of the police cars have laptop docking stations that fold out of the way. A few regions up here in Ontario Canada have F 150's and have a neat setup for their laptops
