Noticed today that fog lights will stay on when the truck is restarted and headlights are on in auto mode if they were on when the truck was shut off. Fog light switch has no light or indicator in the cab when they are on. Past trucks would always shut off fogs and had a light. Same with cargo light, no indicator in the cab when it is on. Driving in some pretty bad storms in Chicago this week. I'm not one to use the fogs in clear weather. One of my peeves when others do it. I don't want to be one of "them"

 

Mine has a green light on in the dash when the fogs are on, same with the headlights. I'd post a pic but I'm half a world away from it at the moment.

I did notice that if you turn off the auto lamps the fogs reset to off until you turn them on again.

 

Green indicator lights under the speedometer, one for fog lights on, one for headlights on. And yes, like NotchFiveOh said, once you turn headlights off manually, you have to turn the fogs back on manually, but if you leave them on auto-on, fog lights will come back on automatically.

 

feel pretty stupid now. I see fog light green indicator now on speedometer side. no indicator for cargo light that you hit while feeling for fog light switch in the dark.
