Can you use a heat gun on weathertech floormats in a new Jeep Cherokee to get it to fit better on the side. My neighbor hangs her foot on hers. Claims it doesn’t lean outward enough. Will a heat gun help and where should it be heated?

You could try heating them but if it doesn't work, Weathertech has a return policy and should honor it.

Thank you, I think some heat on the outside contoured edge perhaps may help. Not heating the inside contour!

I used a heat gun on my all weather floor mats to "bend" them back in shape. Worked pretty good.
