Flawless Experience with New Lariat
I have yet to meet someone face to face, who is not happy with their 2015 F150. So in the interest of fairness, who is having a flawless new truck experience?
I am fortunately not having any of issues I have read on this forum. My 502A Lariat has been flawless. Best new car buying experience I have had. With the exception of having a truck bed, it is impossible to compare this truck to my other trucks. Simply on a different level. The interior and features are more similar to my wife's Lexus, than my previous trucks. My last car was an Acura MDX, with SH-AWD. My truck driving experience is similar, with power to spare.
I have made some small additions. Tinted the moonroof with 70% ceramic tint and the front windows with 40%. Added the OEM bed extender and roll up tonneau. Escort Redline radar, cause the truck is so fast.
Unfortunately the truck does attract a lot of attention. At least once a day (usually more) I have to let someone take a closer look, when I reach a parking lot.
No 1st World problems... the seats cool in just the right places, the moonroof beats my wife's hardtop convertible, and Sport mode has me weaving through traffic like a teenager.

I'm having a good experience also!
But I'm "knocking on wood" right now.

Both obviously posting false information, because EVERYONE knows that EVERY 2015 has MAJOR FLAWS...
That's 2 positives, 100 negatives, scientific sample of all F-150 owners concluded.

Whatever makes you feel better, about your antiquated F150.

I've only had one minor thing that I didn't even notice until I was under the truck. Even then I don't really care because I can't see it.
Personally, I couldn't be happier with my truck. There's some mods I want to do, sure, but I love this damn thing.

And yes the AC seats work for the first 10 min but if you think these is no issue with them keep fooling yourself. I would suggest getting the TSB done.
I had a little rust here and there and the dealer is paying to get it removed and touchup. Mostly on the rear axle.
Overall I am happy with the truck. I have not towed our camper yet and reading the towing stories has me a little worried, but I will decide myself when I tow. I have towed a trailer and my tractor on it and did not have one issue at all.
The only real issue is the transfer case noise. I suggest you all with the lariat with the 4A option listen for the light clicking noise. I have it and the dealer heard it. They have the truck right now and I have a rental sitting in a garage.

Everytime I start to like mine something new pops up.
Interesting we still get these reports from people saying their seats cool fine, even when there is no way that they can as they come from the factory.
Which brings up the point that all these dealers are selling trucks and cars with seats that don't cool right and seem to have no intention of fixing the problem unless someone happens to read this forum and finds out about the TSB and convinces the dealer to fix them.

Let me guess. You got rust everywhere on a brand new truck??? LOL

Rust on the driveline? Yep, just like literally every single other truck you see on the road or on a dealer lot, anywhere.
Only problem I've got is the undercoating stuff they spray on the rockers was left sloppy under the front end of the bedside, and so I'll have to knock some of it down flush to the edge with a file or something. Otherwise, who cares. The other 99.9% of the truck is absolutely perfect. I'm not going to **** my pants and lose sleep over something like that.
This is the problem with forums and review sites....the negatives always bitch louder than the positives. On this site, or any forum you're always going to hear more negative stories than positive. Kind of like the lessons I learned early on in my career as a tech support agent...nobody ever calls the ISP to tell them how well their internet is running today.
Anyone with a 2015 took a chance on a first year model. There's no possible way people can't know by now to not buy a first year model if you're not willing to take the risk. This is why they have warranties. If your truck has a problem, and Ford is fixing it on their dime, and provided you a rental to use in the meantime, I hardly think you have any reason to complain. But that's just me personally.
We should be thankful we're not in the midst of multiple safety recalls like the Ram guys, or just driving ****ty trucks like the Chevy guys.
At the rate they're cranking these trucks out nowadays to meet the demand, it's almost guaranteed that early first year models will have some minor issues. There are two types of people: people who will do whatever they can to fix it themselves and move on, or let the dealer/Ford handle it if they can't do it themselves, or the people who will start a thread on a forum condemning an entire brand of vehicles and calling for everyone's head on a stick, and worrying about eventualities instead of the real world.
It's a personal decision. I don't mind wrenching, and my truck is a truck, not an investment and not a prized possession. Some of you seem to want to throw yours away at the first sign of trouble and get a new one. The used truck market thanks you for the artificial inflation it's seen over the last few years.
*end rant.
