Default Flat screen Sync 3 mounting brackets

I'm in the process of gathering the parts to upgrade from 4" Sync 1 to 8" Sync 3 in my 2015. I ordered a screen and APIM out of a 2016 Escape which should have a flat screen (not recessed) but the brackets don't look like they'll work. I'd rather not have to try to modify the brackets if possible but I'll go that route if I have to. So, a couple of questions - will the brackets attached to my 4" screen work? If not, does anyone know of anywhere I can find some appropriate brackets? I found these on eBay but don't really want to drop $40 on brackets.

Maybe I'm not using the right search term to find other options? I see some 3D printed ones but they're $30.

Someone else recommended buying a broken screen that has the brackets attached but I'm having a hard time sourcing one of those as well.

I don't think the 4 inch brackets will work without major modification, otherwise people would just use those when doing conversions. You could purchase an F150 screen with brackets and resell the screen you already purchased. Otherwise there are some vendors here on the forum that may have brackets for cheaper than $30, but that's the going rate I've seen them sold for.

If you can find a 3D Print file of the correct brackets, I'd be happy to print them for you for free, however I'm only seeing 2013-14 brackets on 3D Print file sites.

Thanks for the offer on printing the brackets. I'll see if I can dig anything up.
