Flat black door handles
Hello,
I am eventually going to try to paint my chrome door handles but for now i would like to find some black ones to tone down the chrome on my Blue Jean Blue. I am guessing they do not make paint matched handles in my color because i can never find them. Does anyone know where i can find some black handles until i can get up the courage to try to paint match some. Also looking at grilles I am looking for a flat black something like a lariat grill but having trouble with finding one they all look like a metallic.

one of my fav places to look for parts is http://www.car-part.com/ .. maybe if you can track down an XL you can get what you're looking for

^^^agreed, black handles from an XL is your best bet. You could also try wrapping yours too, someone on here showed some pics of his a few weeks ago. Then there’s plastidip although not sure it would hold up. For paint matched, a good shop can paint your chrome ones and apply the proper prep so they last. For grills, there are many threads on here you can search through, lots on eBay and of course, you can have your painted also.

http://www.car-part.com was actually very helpful finding the black ones. Unfortunately i dont think they made a blue jean metallic sport to find painted

I may be wrong, but I believe the 2018 blue jeans sports come with the PTM handles? I had my chrome handles plasti-dipped before I took them off along with the bumpers. I had a guy who stripped off the chrome and PTM the handles and bumpers. Definitely the way to go in my opinion, but the quick fix with the plasti-dip was definitely better than nothing. At least for me since I’m not a chrome fan on my personal vehicles.

I am having trouble finding a blue jean sport anywhere. I am on fords website basically searching the country for a VIN of one so i can find parts. I wonder if i could just install the lariats with the keyless entry button and not use it. The handles still look like the have key holes too.
