Default First rain - Leak!!!!

Got in the truck today it rained over night

- water on passenger floor
- water drop Les on grab handle
- water on wood trim in front of passenger.
- headliner wet between sunroof and passenger door
- a pillar is wet inside

Any thoughts?

Still under warranty I assume. Download the FordPass app to your iOS or Android, setup an account and add your VIN too it. Then schedule a dealer appointment.

Or you can just call the dealership and schedule (I prefer the FordPass app though.)

Sounds like the right front drain is clogged. Ask how I know....................

I will take it in obviously I was hoping to just know what it was if the drain is clogged is it possible I can unclog it on my own without having to go to the dealer

Could be clogged, but for brand new I would say some other defect in assembly.

Either way, dont mess with it and take it in right away.

how are the drains getting clogged? Do you park under a tree or something that keeps falling on the roof?

I have not had one issue with my moon roof other than it's was kinda hot and I had it tinted.

I do park in the garage but have been in bad rain storms and through the car wash alot.

I wonder if it would be a good idea to check these drain tubes every so often... I have not looked at mine yet.

Usually they clog with debris getting in slowly over a long period of time.
I have cleaned many of them, and there is not much you can do to prevent it. Its common to happen but usually as a vehicle ages.
