Default First Factory Failure

Four years and four months, 28K miles, essentially five summers, the battery died.

Went to leave the Golf course and it wanted to turn over, tried to turn over but just couldn't do it. Brought it home and put the charger on and the next morning it did the same thing but somehow started even though I swear it barely, barely turned over. Off to Wally World for a new battery that has a three year guarantee. That's longer than I'll have the truck as I'm planning on a 2021 when they come out.

I have accidentally drained the battery completely (and I mean dead) twice. Both times it charged back up and worked as normal. I'd bet this didn't help it's longevity but around here four years is a fairly normal life expectancy for a battery because of the heat.

I'm going to still consider the truck flawless to this point as it still has never been to the dealer for anything other than the 1st oil change.

Still absolutely love this truck. It has been 100% bullet proof.

Guess I missed that on the build sheet. I'll add that to my case with Ford.

What good is a lawyer gonna do ya? like another member stated......"Batteries are a maintenance item and meant to be replaced throughout the life of the truck"

Good luck on fighting that one.

I would say he was definitely being extremely sarcastic.

Thought I could get away with the sarcasm as my initial post was a rather glowing report of my flawless truck, that I love.
