I have been driving it around town so hopefully its not sitting precariously on the bumper or the running board. I need to go out an look around the truck again. This will be like the fifth time. Maybe need a new set of eyes on the job.

in the sync drawer? theres also a little slot/indention under the rubber you can stash a keyfob, I think its where you place it if the battery dies so you can still start the truck

Overhead console? Door pockets? Pocket under the handle? Rear map pockets behind seats? Between seat and center console or split bench seat? Take a good flashlight and check around and under your seats.

Well I can close the book on this embarasing chapter of my life.

I cleaned out the truck and still didnt think I was going to find it but tried running my hands around the bolt down points for the drivers seat and it was resting there wedged behind some of the plastic that covers the bolts.
It was really in there and not visable.
My best guess is that it went down the back of the seat like a Plinko chip and found its way there.
Thanks for the encouragement.

OK I nailed it!!! Do I win anything? How about a Buffalo Bills victory over New England on MNF?
