No there is no removeable or moveable plate behind the actual interface plate, you could bolt them to the tool box but I think you would want to use some big washers or better yet drill a pice of plate to match the bolt holes on the inside of your tool box

Thanks, I was planning on using a steel or aluminum plate as a giant washer to distribute the load.

Np. That's what the fourm is for lol let us know how you make out, I really like the ability to use etrack straps and accessories. I have no use for the cleats tho lol, the plates provide more than enough versatility. Every dealership I spoke with about adding the interface plates was clueless lol they all claimed to sell each plate separately plus the bolts..... i was about to just make my own plates since all i wanted was the etrack ability and didnt want to spend over $200 but was unsure of the bolts and holes. The members of this fourm steered me right tho

Hello,

Anyone know if you can purchase the self tapping bolts only for the interface at a hardware store ?

Thank you,
Ken

I ordered my plates from Amazon and they came with self-tapping Torx bolts. I used my Makita impact driver to install them about 95% of the way then torqued them down by hand. The plates are going anywhere.

These are the plates I ordered. The title says anti-theft screws but the weren't actually anti-theft torx screws but rather regular torx screws.

I purchased some similar bolts that were mentioned above. They were not self tapping, so I also purchased a tap. Was able to thread those holes to accommodate the bolts. Dont buy a cheap tap, mine snapped, luckily I was able to get the broken piece out.

thanks,
Ken

Cordless impact made me snap two screw heads off. And they’re a pain to try to drill out
