Anyone have input on or installed a permanent rear entertainment on the ceiling?

in our exploder we just moved to an android tablet. IT's an 8 inch model (8.X whatever) and has expandable memory - that's my main requirement.

I dont' have to pay someone for a modicum of extra space. using a 128 gb sd card and pulling stuff off my home NAS setup (Network attached storage for those curious)

Offspring 1 has a widget that will carry all of peppa pig, ben and holly, moana, and a number of learning games. Room to spare and when she uses it - has no internet connection - no app store - and the volume only goes so high.

Now I need to rig up a way to control it with my phone remotely so when I need to I can control it. More difficult than it sounds.
