Anyone want to have the fake engine noise as a consumer switchable feature? Just like you turn on or off your AC. Sometimes I want all the quietness of a ecoboost, sometimes I like to hear a little V8 noise. It's too inconvenient to get switch back and forth by dealership for a simple feature like that.

I hope Ford could release software upgrade for that, hopefully over Wifi even. What do you think?

Well, may I suggest whoever is interested start sending their request to Ford customer service? I hope once Ford sees enough request, it will make it happen, it is such a small upgrade at almost no cost!
