Default Failure to start?

Anyone else have the problem with their 2015+ where you turn the key to start it and it just sits there tryin to start but doesn’t so you stop and try again and it always starts on the second time? This is gettin really annoying and it only happens about 50% of the time so of course if I bring it to the dealership is ain’t gonna happen but I just don’t want to be broke down somewhere.

I haven't had that with my 2015 but my old Ranger acted like that when the security module was going or if the chipped key was bad.

huh interesting I never thought about the key going bad but I find it strange on a truck with only 16,000 miles the key would be going bad then again I’m pretty sure my main key is a refurb I bought on eBay and programmed myself I may try one of the keys the truck came with and see if that helps

So it’s obviously not the battery in the key because my old key broke and I’m now using a brand new key
