Hey guys,
just installed the Ford trailer brake controller on my 2020.
Had it programmed at a Ford shop this morning( not a dealer but, they have the same IDS software that the dealers use ).
Everything works good,
just curious about something:
when I manually apply the trailer brakes
the display says “ iraphicr’ “
underneath of the brake gain bar graph.
Does anybody else see this message?
BTW my truck is a 300a XLT with the base instrument cluster( which is funny because XLs with the 101a package get the upgraded cluster but, my XLT doesn’t )
Anyway, just curious if anybody else with the base dashboard ( either 100A XLs or 300A XLTs ) has this same message.
I try to load a photo,
and BTW : this only shows up with a trailer connected, it won’t do by adjusting gain setting w/o trailer.

No input except it looks like it's saying "Graphic..." with the G partially cut off. Odd.
You’re probably right,
I wondered about that also.
Almost like it’s just supposed to say
“ Graphic “ and somehow that “ r “ with a heart over it pushed part of the G out of frame.
It is odd, if I had activated the brake controller with Forscan, then I would chalk it up to some kind of error but,
with the IDS software there are two boxes that get clicked to enable the controller, so nothing to mess up.

Yep I'd also think it's trying to displaying 'graphic' but it's not aligned properly. The 'r' on the right would complete the leading 'g' and heart and other little accent over the leading 'g' should be the bottom part of the g but they're displaying on the top.
Not handy to check, but could it be the name of the trailer you have connected??
Good question,
I’m fairly certain that with my base instrument cluster that I don’t have the option to name/track miles on individual trailers.( I’ve gone all through the menu)
I have the most basic instrument panel Ford makes, looks like an early 80’s video game.
