If the picture of the plug is from your truck that's all you need except for forscan to activate it. There are numerous threads on installing one. Here are some notes of mine (I keep notes on my computer for lots of things to remind this old fart what I've done or not done in life.)Installed the kicker sub using the WPT1212 harness as I had the factory plug in the DS rear seat area. I cut the padding with a razor blade and slid the retaining straps thru them so the unit is secured at the top only but should not go anywhere as the back seat will stop it from flying forward. I plugged the sub’s power cord into the amp itself and the blue LED light came on when I turned the truck on but did not hear any music coming out. The SAT function was on the radio and it sounded much better than before even tho I was NOT able to change any FORSCAN settings to activate the sub. The LED remained on after I turned the key off but just like the rest of the lights that stay on in this situation, it did eventually go out. I unplugged the amp, the power card is just back there.

Made the change in Forscan using the plain English method, really wanted the other method, but it worked. Also reset the ACM module, at first the power/led light did not come on nor any vibration or sound, now I get some vibration and sound, so need to play with the settings on the amp a bit to see if I can get it any better

There are lots of posts of how to do the Forscan settings in the Forscan thread, and numerous threads on the Kicker sub as well.
