it was easy to run the power to the rear. The door sill trim comes off pretty easily and there is a channel for wiring underneath.
also Kansas City plant if that makes a difference.
Very similar to my truck; is yours super crew?
If so, what sub components did you install and does it fit behind seat?
Thanks,

Thanks,
Yes, I have a supercrew.

i installed a Rockville RW10CA powered sub behind the rear drivers side seat. It is thin enough that I can still fold up the seat.

I just installed my Kicker Hideaway and wanted to stop by and thank everyone who has contributed to this as it helped me out greatly. Mine was a simple plug and play, after enabling in Forscan, and it sounds great. Now of course it is a tighter bass as opposed to the lower boom but at my age that's what I was going for. So thanks again for all the help.

Default XLT 300A Confirmation

I installed the Kicker Hideaway in my 2016 Super Crew XLT with the 300A package. Just wanted to add that I got power, ground, and remote turn on from the plug. Had to tap into the door speaker wires to get audio signal. The 300A package does not have the audio signal to the plug. Hope it saves somebody some time figuring it out.

You aren't getting all the low bass from the rear speakers.

I'm new to the forum, a lot of great stuff on here. Having trouble getting my Kicker sub to work using the factory connector and forescan as detailed in this post. Went through the forescan setting and triple checked, It indicates external speaker enabled and also subcrew 7 speaker. No sound from the sub. Power works, i removed the rear door panel and connected directly to the driver side rear door speakers, works great. Trying to avoid the extra work and splicing of wires. Any ideas why I can get the factory connector to work? I followed the diagrams. I am using the bottom middle two wires, no luck. Thanks for any suggestions.

Not sure why it would not work, I believe a Sport package should have the wires. My 2016 Super Crew had power, ground, and remote, but not the speaker signals to the rear plug, but it is a 300A package. If you have a multimeter check the signal wires.
