My installation is in a 2016 F 150 SCREW. I mounted it behind the Left Rear Passenger Seat. I used 2 strips of wide Velcro and attached it to the carpet. It's worked Great so far.

Edit: It fits! I had to cut out a bunch of the sound insulation, but after doing so it fits! putting the back set up is super tight, but it latches. The box is slightly longer than the width between the two bolts coming up so I might built a little platform to raise the height to the height of the bolts. This is great news as I really didn't want to use up all of the under seat storage!

THANK YOU for posting this!
I just installed a Rockford 500w class d (using the factory sub wiring, just cut the end off and crimped and taped) for now, as it's -20)..... and a pioneer UD SW250T with pioneer 10" sub (small wedge box with no legs on it). Sound wires were not speaker lever, so had to connect to RCA's, and the remote turn on requires a 6V relay to power the amp. Other than that, a piece of cake, the harness was right where everyone said, I had the dealer turn it on (for free, bonus). Thanks Everyone!! The 2 bolts that stick up, I cut them off, and the sub sits right on them, and tucks below the "lip" in the rear cab carpeting.

As for the sound, it seems as thought the output is filtered (probably low pass'd) as the sub output was very clean. I couldn't perceive any issue with the amp running off the small wires, and I metered the voltage with it playing, and never saw anything below 14volts.

NO CARPET TRIMMING required ( I refuse to butcher a new truck), minor trimming of the ears of the one seat bracket in the middle of the rear of the back seat, (nothing structural, just the ribbing) and a 1.25" spacer on each side of the sub to keep the cone from hitting the rear seat bracketry.

Probably the most "musical" sounding system I have heard in a while, plays most music really well, and loud, but not as loud as a ported 10" sub.

Pics will follow once I've cleaned up the wiring, as I left a lot extra, just in case.....

Also did the ebay remote start install, ($200cad and 10 mins=wow, resonator bypass pipe from corsa, and a $150 spectre intake, shocked it fit, sounds good, and added at least 30hp () - Good day!

wondering if someone can help...i bought a JBL BassPro SL and the WPT1212 to hook it up using the hidden (confirmed it was there) connector. The harness that came with the JBL only has 2 sets of wires on it....One set for L+ & L- and the other set is R+ & R-, Looking at post #87 im not completely sure how to hook this up...I see a few say they made a harness to make it work...any clairty on how to use the WPT1212 with the JBLs harness would be great...dont really want to run power and remote wire on top of tapping into speaker wires to get this to work.

People often use either the left or right speaker line, leave the other input empty. You can set the level to low level with forscan. I chose Aux speaker instead of Sub because I assumed the "Sub output" choice would have its own crossover and I did not want it to interfere with my amps internal 200 Hz limit. I assume but have no data to support that the factory sub output is the sum of L+R already. If you don't think it is, then you can run from left and right rear speakers (speaker level). Many of the forscan choices are untested as of yet with a scope so you are shooting from the hip.

Yep, I started with aux. Sub but it was real weak. Almost no signal. Aux. Speaker comes out much better.

I'm tapped into the 2 OEM sub wires.

Would be nice to have an Oscope to check the frequencies for each setting.

In forscan I have set to Aux speaker so I think Im good there. I still dont get how to hook the WPT1212 to the 4 wires on the JBL...this is a all in one sub amp type like the hideaway....on post 87 it talks about other wires to hook up which im assuming is for power, remote, ect. also Im assuming there are wires on the hideway harness that correlates to those on the WPT1212 but the JBL only has the 4 wires for speakers. So if I just hook up one set of the wires on the JBL harness to the WPT1212 harness wires for either left or right,, how will the amp get its power, remote ect. I want to try and avoid running power and remote wire to the JBL.....

Sorry if Im just not grasping what you guys are saying....

at second check i have it checked as aux external sub as i thought this was the one the turned on that factory harness in the rear panel

Thanks
Chad

An amp must get power somewhere so check around. Look at the other end of the amp. You need power and ground. If you are below ~150 watts the smaller gauge wire that goes thru the wpt1212 will likely suffice. If your amp requires higher power and you run a separate wire you can find the factory grounding point on the back wall, on either side just below the level of the headrest, hidden near the corner. The final piece is the remote turn on wire, you may or may not use that. It is 6v so some amps do not respond well to that. Some amps turn on via speaker signal detect.
