I gave up for the evening and went to bed. The next day I drove over to the local Audio shop without checking the harness to have them wire up to the B pillars they said the harness was working fine. Perhaps I didn't leave it off long enough for the write to take effect. Everything is working great now.

So i enabled the sub in Forscan and attached the red wire to the top left black and the black wire to the top right black and the speaker + to the speaker + and - to - on the harness and my kicker substage and the amp turns on (I can see the green light) but I am not getting anything from the sub itself. Any ideas?

I had the same thing happen to me. Not sure why but I think it has something to do with the Powerpoint timeout. Mine has like an hour and a half timeout. That's the only reason I could think of. I let it rest overnight and it was working the next day. I also changed it to the Kicker 6 speaker instead of 7 and the center speaker sounds better.

Those of you with the Hideaway; how are you attaching the velcro straps? are you cutting slits in the backing behind the seat?

Also, seems the ForScan settings most agreed on are: AUX sub on, and not configured for speakers, correct?

Curious.

Yep and yep, for me. I cut slits in the padding, and those settings worked the best for me.

Sorry if this has been covered but I have read 20+ pages in this thread and don't see an answer.

I have a 16 SC platinum with the Sony system. I'm not clear on if the kicker is a plug and play upgrade or not. The Sony sub is dead weight imo I had to put my hand on the enclosure just to see if it was actually working. I had the kicker in my 12 SC platinum and was hoping the new version would be comparable.

My I pad hates this site and constantly errors then reloads the page so I am hoping someone can answer this for me. Thanks in advance for any information.

Theres 2 versions of the Kicker, for some reason. One is Plug N Play, the other requires a seperate harness... Of course there 2 part #'s, I just dont know them.
