Question Factory Scheduling???`

Just a theory here but it is something I have been pondering since watching the Dearborn video. When scheduling trucks in the queue. do they make adjustments for paint? In other words do they schedule all white one day or all black one day and if you ordered an obscure color (AKA bronze fire) do they wait until they have 50/100 units before they start that color? Anybody here that is familiar with the paint cycle?

The line is not scheduled based on color, I have visited the line a number of time and there might be a small number of a single color in a row then 1 of another color and then a small number of a different color...

Not an expert, but from what I have seen on videos, modern auto plants can paint any color in any order. The robot painters clear their spray heads and proceed to whatever color is next.
If I am wrong, I am positive someone will correct me VERY quickly.

They run in no certain order. I have seen all kinds of different color combinations ran at our plant. Every once in a great while we may get 3 or 4 of the same color in a row.
