Default Factory Running Board Brackets

Does anyone have a complete set of the factory brackets to mount running boards? My neighbor gave me his from his Superduty. His mounts work, but hang wayyyyyyy too low. I need to get them up to normal height so I don't rip them off while cruising around the farm.

You can buy them new but they’re not cheap, maybe someone on here will have used ones available for sale.

Yeah, I see that on every website I've checked. Wouldn't even have the steps on the truck, but my 5 year old has a hard time getting in...he also adamantly refuses help. I'm going to leave them mounted low for now. Better than nothing.

Man your a day late. I got tired of my oem laying in the garage. I set the complete boards out at the end of my drive yesterday. They were gone in 15 minutes.

It just so happens... I have brand new running board takeoffs (removed before delivery) from my 2020 STX. The dealer still has them... wrapping them up nice and hopefully finding me a box they will fit in. I will probably pick them up (and the truck) on Monday. I haven’t researched a fair selling price yet. Shipping expense may be cost prohibitive to send to Georgia? PM me if you are interested.

That they do. I want a bit more drop and was thinking of trading mine, but even with a total of 2" front and 1.25" rear lift, I think they will look like ***. I only want maybe 1.5" of drop.

If you've got a few tools, you can shorten those superduty brackets. The lower mount of the bracket is easy, drill new holes, and cut off the excess. For the upper mount, cut off the excess, then bolt in a piece of flat bar or plate, using angle aluminum to attach to the sides that remains.
