Default Factory Kicker Sub in XLT

Ordered an XLT today with the factory Kicker sub option. If you have a truck with this option, what are your thoughts regarding the sound, adjustability, etc. of this factory sub option. Are there any sub-specific settings in the Sync 3 interface?

I have that option. Its ok for what it is. There are no sub controls in the head unit at all, just low, mid, and high eq adjustment. If your looking door rattling window shaking bass output, your not going to get it with this. Don't get me wrong, it sounds very balanced, and the fact that its integrated in to truck makes it worth it. Maybe in the future, I put a sub enclosure under the rear bench, to further augment the low end bass.

The 12 I traded in had a 12" sub and 150w amp mounted in the rear that sounded great and hit Hard. It did take up the room for the smaller rear seat.

My 16 was ordered with the Kicker and Im very happy with it. Like said above its very well balanced to the rest of the system and now that Im not giving up the seat space Im very happy to stick with it.
