Default Which wire is for cargo lamp?

I know this topic has been discussed a lot in the past so I did searched the forum but didn't get the exact answer for what I need. Please help again...

I bought the LED bed lights from f150leds.com and was a little confused by the wiring. My truck is 2019 STX SCREW. I have an OEM bed light controlled by the button in bed as well as the cargo light button in cab. So I am trying to tap the aftermarket leds to a hot wire that corresponding to the OEM one. By following the instructions from f150leds.com,
http://support.f150leds.com/en/artic...oem-bed-lights

It says “use the purple wire with grey/yellow” (but I guess the “grey/yellow” should be “black/yellow” for ground?) which detailed in the following article:
http://support.f150leds.com/en/artic...on-a-2015-f150

The black/yellow is easy to find so it is ground for sure. But I cannot find the “solid purple” as stated in the above wiring guide. I carefully checked all the wires in the rear passenger door kick panel, only found the grey/purple one mentioned in the above article (the second diagram). But I am not sure it is the one controls the bed light. There is also one very thick (as thick as the black/yellow ground wire) wire colored in purple/orange but I doubt it is the one I want. Please see that attached picture for what I mean.

Of course I can test by trial and error but I really don’t want to cut any unnecessary wires… Anybody had similar experiences and successfully done so can instruct me which wire I should tap for hot? I want to find out the one controls the OEM bed lights so the aftermarket one can be controlled by the in bed switch.

Really appreciate for any help in advance!

Edit: I changed the thread title to make the question clearer but for whatever reason it still shows old version.

Bump for myself. So basically the question is: Which wire is for cargo lamp?

I just tapped the grey/purple, it is actually for the dome lamp. So my leds on/off with the interior dome lamp when I open/close the doors. But when I press the OEM switch in bed or the cargo lamp button in cab, the OEM bed light and cargo light illuminate, the aftermarket led has no response.

So there must be another wire for the cargo lamp. Anyone has the idea which one is?

I searched the BBB industry website but no lighting diagram for any 2019 truck.

Seems no one encountered the same problem. lol

Anybody has 2019 SCREW and knows where the “solid purple” wire is?

I guess Ford changed the wire color this year but I cannot find a 2019 diagram from BBB industry website.

Problem solved by myself. The purple wire becomes white/green in 2018+ model. See my new post

I bought a LED light strip for the box, but have not installed it yet. Where do you run the lights from inside the box to the rear kick panel to tap into these wires?

Just drill a little hole on back of the bed wall and seal it after installing the wires. Should be super easy.

What color wires can I connect to on my 2021 F250 to get power and ground for running board lights?
