Not being able to change the background on the touchscreen to the image of my choice like I can in my '15 Mustang drives me nuts. For that matter, I hate the touchscreen in general, give me a regular radio with connectivity.

Otherwise, the only really dumb thing is that OEM oil drain plug. I've been changing oil for ~40 years, and I've never made more of a mess doing so until I bought a Ronin plug.

Excellent post and I agree completely. We've sure come a long way.

Supporting recreational towing mode (e.g. towing behind a motorhome 4 wheels down) with transfer case neutral selection, mode recognition on the computer, and instructions to prevent steering lock in the manual (GREAT!). But NOT including a plug-in option for remote brake/turn/running light control is dumb.

(Aux braking option would be great too. At least a part to Y off the vacuum for the booster and attachment points for a pedal actuation method)

I get that they don't allow the driver to input an address into the NAV in order to avoid distracted driving, but dangit why can't my passenger do it for me?!

Also, the $%^ing freezing door latches.... don't get me started.

Agreed! There's already weight sensors in the seat cushion for the passenger fasten seat belt reminder, I'd assume that NAV entry in motion could be enabled when the passenger seat is occupied. Other manufacturers do this, would love to see Ford implement as well.

Everything about my 2018 F150 Lariat makes me shake my head. Im a mans man and want a mans truck so this whole truck makes me question my manhood. I dont want power steering or any of that fancy sissy crap because anything more makes it not a truck.

Just F'in around. Theres not much that makes me shake my head about my truck. I have heard its a nightmare doing an oil change yourself though lol

I love my truck even if it did come with the Pano Roof, which I clean and lube religiously. Could Ford have made the Pano Roof controls any less intuitive? I don't use it enough to develop the muscle memory so the mystery buttons make me feel like a spaz. Rarely can I get it where I want it on the first pass.

I often hook up to one of my trailers and then start driving before I remember to choose the right trailer. I know it's not a huge problem, it just seems weird that I can do so much while driving, but I can't click on a different trailer. Makes no sense.
Thank lawyers for that. Scared they will get sued.

For me it's the light in the storage tray below the climate control , why does it not turn off with the rest of the courtesy lights if you leave it open .......
