F150 Lease
Does anyone know the residual on a 12k lease for a xlt screw 5.0? Is it 60% of the MSRP prior to any and all discounts? Can the buy-out be negotiated?
Also, anyone with experience, can you usually get dealers to drop below invoice and split the hold back on an ordered truck. I am looking for max payload and they don't seem to stock many in my area.
Thanks!!

How far under invoice depends on how good your negotiating skills are. $500-$1,000 under invoice seems fairly common.
The buyout is set at dollar amount in the lease and is probably a % of the Full sticker. All my leases (currently have two with Ford Credit) the buyout price is listed in the lease and not negotiable in the paperwork.
I work for Ray Catena Auto Group in Edison NJ. No lease buyout is ever negotiable. It is contracted by the residual of the lease, majority of the time it doesnt make sense to buy the vehicles at the end of the lease because the residual buyout is more than what the value of the vehicle is at the time.
As far as prices under invoice. Invoice MINUS incentives is truly what the dealers pay for the car. How far under that they are willing to go depends on MANY things.
How close they are to their monthly goal, what the incentive is for each unit they sell, etc. theres plenty of factors that go into that.
We never go past -1400 unless we need to hit a goal or something like that.
