I ordered my Bak MX4 Tonneau Cover from Real Truck last week and got the notification that it has shipped.
I致e been tracking the package since it left the FedEx facility expecting it to be delivered yesterday.
I got home from work excited that it was delivered (driver delivered to door at 2:13pm) to find no cover on my front porch.
My wife was home all day and said there was nothing delivered via Fed Ex.
Now I知 pissed and jump in my truck to see if it was mistakenly delivered to the wrong house (yes Post office does this regularly) and see nothing on any of my neighbors porches either.
A call was made to FedEx to inform them I did NOT receive my package and now the waiting game begins.

Sadly this happens to me alot with Amazon puchases. It will say delivered and I never get the package. I live in an apartment and depending on who delivers it will depend on wheres the package is left as well. Sometimes its left in a large mail box, sometimes its left in the leasing office, and sometimes and its left at my door.

Best of luck finding the package and hoping Fedex takes care of the issue.

 

FedEx cant stop people from stealing packages, neither can USPS.

 

Correct.. best thing to do is require a signature for your goods.. can稚 blame the people that deliver it..

 

^this, I live next to a park. The punks took most of what was delivered until I found Fed ex, ups and post office can hold packages for pickup at your request. I like it better, when u pick up your package and it's busted to crap from delivery, refuse it. No debate on who ruined it

 

Requesting a signature will also solve this entirely. They will try to deliver it first and if there's nobody home, they will bring it back to their store for you to pick it up (and sign it, of course ). Dumbasses everywhere, can't trust nobody nowadays...

 

Is FedEx actually the delivery agent, or are they having the USPS do the final delivery?

 

I had three packages that were supposedly delivered on Dec. 13th and left on the front porch. My wife was home all day and never saw the UPS driver. A few days later I caught up with the driver and he said that maybe he left them at the wrong house, but when I checked with all my neighbors, they of course denied ever seeing them. I had to call each seller and make a claim.

 

My large package arrived with 3 dents and a puncture.

Of course none of this was obvious until totally unpackaged.
