I normally park straight in the garage using the front camera plus a 3'x2'x 2" thick toy box that is leaning to the wall. This box serves as my soft bumper with sound when it is being compressed. I hit the brake when I see (in the screen) the truck bumper touches the box or when I can hear the squeaking sound from it.

So, I can have 1 to 2 inches front clearance and 3 to 4 inches at the back. That's why I had the hard time looking for a short hitch(as a rear bumper protector in heavy traffic) that I can hook it in the hitch receiver all the times even when parking in the garage. I wish a mini rear step from "Go Rhino" I ordered gives me a smile

Thanks for all the input, I got a lot of good ideas. Granted I would have to remove some cabinets and shelves I installed. If I some how go with the 6.5 bed, I won't be able to fit it. Decisions...decisions... At least I am a patient person when it comes to buying something.

I have a 3 car garage so width isn't a problem but length is another story. I have to pull in and put my truck in neutral and push it against the wall and then hit my garage door button and as the door comes down at the back bumper push it out just a bit so it doesn't hit.

I back mine in every day, tap the wall to know I am all the way in. only downside, I have to crawl out the passenger door. My wife's SUV also backed in. Chivalry is not dead, she gets to use her driver's side door.

yes, mirrors on both are folded in.

I think I have a pic of the fit - if I find it, i will post

I can park my truck with my wife's midsize SUV. It's tight but its better than damping the garage with her junks.

Sorry I cant delete this rotated pic using my smartphone.

What's the back wall to door (shut) distance?

My wife and I are building. Paid an extra $4000 to have the garage depth bumped to 24'.
