I sure do see alot of Silverados recently. Know how I can spot them so easy? They all, even the work truck versions, have those badass projector headlamps with LED DRLs. Meanwhile FORD has the most advanced trucks with #*^(*$&(#)(* halogen headlights and it's not until you pay 60k do you get modern headlights.

The are not going to offer options like that on all trims
The want people to buy "packages /groups- they make more $$ like that I was told

It is their attitude to fixing critical problems. Not sure why in winter I always think of locks and latches and how my truck is useless in freezing conditions. Yet I paid for a 4x4 because I need a vehicle to drive in extreme winter conditions. Hopefully next winter Ford will address. If not someone will have an almost new F150 and I will likely be in the redesigned Tundra.

That business practice is reasonable on some items, but not on something that is safety related, and not when your competitor is offering it on multiple trim levels. If you want to reserve the fancy LED lights for the Lariat that is fine, but the other trims should at minimum get a projector housing with a HID bulb. There really is just no excuse. $20k cars come with projector housings.

For sure I understand it from a business model. From a safety standpoint I can't believe how bad the stocks are. They probably could do a teired cost on them, xl/stx $1995 for upgraded lights then cheaper as you move up the latter. Just spitballing!!
