Extra battery mounts
I have a great solar setup for camping with a 300W module I strap to my roof and then move around once I am onsite that powers 2 SnoMaster fridge/freezers.
Of course, my 2 6V deep-cycle AGM's are just a tad too big to mount behind the rear seats in my SCREW and I have been looking around in the engine compartment but I don't see many options for a placement of two batteries, let alone one 12V of any significance.
I'd love to see what others are doing, if anything, in this regard or do I just need to buy skinnier batteries for behind the seat?
I'd really like to have that extra weight over the front wheels, somehow.

Could always look to mount a battery box or two underneath. If they are AGM they may fit sideways. I know it's not a Superduty, but that is something I did when I had my dually, it fit nicely on the passenger side.
Yeah, I may be able to mount one on each side.....I'll have to crawl around under there and take a look.
My truck is a 2016 F150 SCREW so I should be able to find space.... I just want to get them as forward as possible..... I was just under there looking at my rock-slider mounts and I think there should be plenty of room..... sure be nice to just plug in and go!

I would strongly recommend against putting them in the cab. Even AGM batteries can "burp" under certain circumstances... and, sometimes, they catastrophically fail. I wouldn't want that inside the passenger compartment.

Agreed. That would be a last and temporary resort.... only while in use.
I would have to take them out every time...... besides, I love that space for just stuffing things into that don't need a box.
I just finished crawling around under my truck and with the rock sliders it would be tough to fit any box of significance along the edge there.
But, what I did find was there is a perfect place behind that cheap air dam thing under the front bumper with a great space that would be frame boltable for a nice battery box..... I could fit two very large 12V batteries in there for lots of amp hours on the fridge and the freezer and whatever the heck else blew my skirt up.
There is a cheesy plastic divider there so air movement from the bottom of the radiator up must not be a concern for the engineers who designed the truck..... Plus it is a very short run to run a splitter so I can charge both the starting battery and the auxiliary batteries..... I think it is win win and the fabrication will be really easy..... heck, I can get a welder here in Mexico to fabricate a nice steel set up for me for very reasonable.
Lots of space there for some nice Lifeline AGM's.
Plus, that little bit of extra weight will suck out that tiny bit of elevation I have been thinking of tightening out of my Icon Level 5 coilovers.
