Default Extended warrantee question

Friend has an extended warranty supposed to cover everything even brakes, his front brakes pulsate, took to dealer , dealer said will not do until pads wear down more. Does this make sense? can any damage occur from driving for a long time with this condition? Second question , when it is raining if he puts car into 4 wheel mode ( not sure what that means on new truck) the dash reads that it is not working and the backs tires sometime slip , dealer says nothing is wrong? Any suggestions ! Thanks Don - Truck has about 30 K miles.

I've never head of brakes being covered by extended warranty's.
It is possible there is just a material transfer on the rotor and not warped at all.
As for the 2nd part, not sure why dealership won't take his money to turn the rotors anyway. Again, doubt it is under warranty. Others may have a warranty that covers brake wear and set me straight.

I don't really know how now to answer the 4x4/rain question. There is no answer to give about the error message you wrote. there is no such thing as "dash reading that it is not working". We'll need to know what the exact error message is to make a better guess.
First, tell your friend to strop drivig in 4x4, even in the rain.
Second, remind your friend that it has/is raining and the roads are slippery.

Not sure why were are so many threads these days that claim the vehicle has a problem because the tires slip on rain covered roads.

What year truck? What type of truck (XLT/Lariat/Platinum, something else).
Is the warranty still his new vehicle warranty under Ford's 3 year/36,000 or is he a 2nd owner and has ONLY an extended warranty.

By the way, your phone is broken because it keeps adding spaces in random places and the shift button doesn't work well.

I'm also unfamiliar with any Ford ESP that covers brakes outside of the brake specific 10k(?) mile warranty when they are new. Maybe it is a third party warranty? Either way, pulsating brakes is typically from bad rotors. At 30k miles, they might be able to be turned depending on their condition. Your 4wd situation is too vague...need more info before anyone can provide you more info.

Default Ford Protect Maintenance Plan

Ford sells a pre-paid maintenance plan that may cover brakes. It’s called Ford Protect; maybe that is what you have?

I don't think pads and rotors are covered. He should learn how to brake properly so once he gets new rotors he won't ruin those too. The 4x4 issue should be covered not sure why the dealer would say it is normal when it is not. Something not being disclosed here?
