Had my 2.7 V6 Ecoboost about 3 days before the engine light come on, then my remote start wouldn't function. At the dealer now, they said it's the EVAP system causing the problem. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem with their new ride?

 

yep, light came on at 238 miles.
dealer says evap purge something bad, on national intergalactic backorder.
will take full day to fix and they have to drop the tank

said no problem to drive it in the meantime
as far as remote start, that won't function as long as your engine light is on.
