Default Engine replacement 2016 3.5 ecoboost

Hello,

I'm looking for a new engine for my 2016 3.5 ecoboost.
Tasca has 2015 engine in stock, but for 2016 it shows discontinued and under 2015 engine there is not 2016 F150 listed.
Can somebody explain to me what's the difference between 2015 and 2016 engines? Or why 2015 engine doesn't fit 2016 truck?

Ford parts websites are notorious for incorrect model year compatibility lists. Check with the supplier (in this case Tasca) and provide your VIN. They can confirm the correct part number.

I didn't intend for this to be my first post on the forum but I think I can help you out with this. I actually worked for Tasca previously but I've moved back to my local Ford dealership. Apple Ford of White Bear Lake. We are set up with Ford as a national powertrain supplier so depending on where you are and if you have a commercial address the engine could go to I might be able to get it delivered at little to no cost and only a small fee for core pickup.

If interested please PM me and we can work out details including exactly which engine is correct for your application.
