Default Engine removal

My truck has to go in for a new short block because of a stress crack right above the pan and just wanted to see if anyone knew how they go about doing this, lift the cab off...drop it out from underneath or just right out from under the hood?

some will lift the cab, some will pull the front end apart (hood, radiator, grille etc) and pull it from the front. The ones we do here we yank out the front, can't drop them out from underside.. ford's WSM tells us to bring them out the front
