OP: how long did you set the poll to run? Looks like it's already closed.
I would consider anything under the hood as an "engine" problem. It's not possible to run the motor without the WP.

No issues with my V8, but it only has 300KM lol

Really? That's the dumbest thing I ever heard. A water pump IS a engine problem and could cause a complete failure. The engine needs a waterpump and a alternator since you brought that up. Without the two the engine couldn't run, at least, not for long.

Whatever. A Powertrain warranty repair does not cover a water pump, it's an engine accessory. Engine problems are internal problems such as pistons, crank shafts, valves, rings, etc.

Your statement that what I said is the dumbest thing you've ever heard is pure stupidity. Read your Powertrain Warranty dumb ***.

I'm not saying one doesn't affect the other, but classifications clearly exist and you clearly don't get it.

Your engine can't run without gasoline either, must be an engine failure if you run out eh?

Or maybe you want to ding an EcoBoost motor because it's made in Mexico radiator went south? CLEARLY an EcoBoost problem huh?

I also read it as the post was for engine related which I think most lean to anything to do with a mechanical engine part wether it's the actual motor or components that makes it tick like pump or alternator etc..., no where did I see power train only? Just saying, y'all have fun though, great entertainment.

I'd really like to see one of these threads be productive without people arguing and calling each other dumbasses. It's not productive to the group. Take it offline.
