I have a 2015 Platinum, and when the Engine Oil Life is reset (by holding OK) the engine hours, and engine idle hours don't reset, they stay the same. Is this normal?

 

Yes, hours are a running total where as oil life isn't.

 

I have noticed they are now recording engine hours, like my 6.4 did. Makes sense. Engine hours can be a better way to determine engine use, along with the odometer. It's more important in diesel. Low milage city drivers will be exposed! Haha
