Engine missing while pulling trailer
2018 F150 lariat.3.5 twin turbo engine We started our trip to the high country NC. Made it 45 miles and getting into the mountains everything was great then it felt like an odd bump in the road got over that hill. The second hill was a little steeper and did it multiple times backed off and took it slower and made it over the hill. The third hill was much worse but babied it to the off ramp. Coming up the last hill I was watching my gauges the turbo gauge was bouncing but the computer isn’t throwing any codes letting me know what is going on. Called my son explained everything one of his thoughts was the gas possibly has some water in it. We turned around and limped home. It goes to Ford on Friday. I really hate the dealership here. Does anyone have any ideas what the heck might be going on. Thanks

Check all the tubing and soft connectors on the turbo air discharge side to be sure they are seated and the clamps are secure.. It may be you have a loose band clamp or punctured soft connector. That would dump boost just as it's building and you really need it. Get a good light and go over everything especially look hard underneath at the intercooler. I had similar experience with the connector at the intercooler that was self inflicted and once at the turbo after cam phaser replacement by the tech leaving a clamp off.
