Default Which engine for Lifted Truck?

What are the thoughts between the 5.0 and the 3.5 EB for an F150 crew cab short bed with a 6" lift and 35x12.50 E rated tires (heavy) with the new 10 speed trans and 3.55/73 gears?

I would go with the EB for it massive low end TQ, But really either Engine will do great just make sure you get the 3.73 gears

6.7 diesel is the only way to go for that.

In a short test ride from the dealer, I could not tell much difference between the 5.0 and the 3.5. I have not been able to test drive the 6.7 Powerstroke. I will average about 17K miles per year and do need to consider gas mileage. I will also have a fair amount of highway time.

Wants a lifted truck and cares about gas mileage?

Whichever has the most torque, and whichever has the best gearing (3.73)
