You need to look up the code description.
It will tell you there is a timing issue between the Crank Sensor and the Bank 2 Intake Cam (A) position signal.
Likely a fault on Bank 2 Intake Cam operation that has to be identified.
Could be the Cam Position Sensor.
The VCT.
Phaser.
Oil pressure low.
Or any One or more.
Good diagnostics is needed and no guess work.
.
Bank 1 has not been implicated yet by coda, but may be later on, if both Banks have wear on the Phasers and need replacement >>if one side does.
How well the engine was taken care of makes no difference to a failure that occurs.
Good luck.

some of the earlier'ish 2.7L had a phaser rattle at start-up just like the 3.5L phaser rattle.
If you ignore it, could be a result of the code....
Been a ford engine tech for 32 years, ive seen a thing or 2.....

will look up code history i assume it will be there for recent power loss usually under the braking even though the eng light doesnt stay on so your thoughts are its related to the p0018 that came up few weeks ago? i fully agree the good diagnostics are needed certainly dont need parts changed nedlessly.thank you for your time to reply,

The issue may act in different ways depending on the cause.
Don't rule out the possibility of a second fault being present at the same time to confuse the problem.
Power loss under braking does not describe a possible fault, well enough.
It is it Electrical, Transmission or Engine related.....under Braking?
Good luck.

To further expand in deceleration actions the system can do.
A. Fuel Injection is cut off. It's not needed under these circumstances. When Throttle is again added, sometimes there can be a short notable hesitation in fuel >>turn-on.
B. Hill retard may be in play with the Converter locked up pushing the Engine RPM upwards a bit doing the speed retard.
C. Same thing can happen in OD gears and Cruise Control going down a hill to keep vehicle from excessive over speed of the selected speed setting.
Be sure of what you feel and see happening that may be normal actions.
Good luck.
