Engine bog down in cold weather.
Hey everyone,
first time posting on here. I have a quick scenario for you and would appreciate some advise. I have 2016 F150 with a 3.5L EB. Xlt model.
Last night, I was driving the vehicle through town, approximately 40 mph. I believe the truck was in 4th gear. All of the sudden I noticed the truck started to bog down when I was accelerating. This happened twice in pretty quick succession. After I let off the gas and continued on my trip, there were no issues. I parked it for a few hours and let it warm up for about 10 minutes and drove home with no issues. Heres the kicker: the air temperature was -22 degrees (seriously) and I did not give the truck very much time to warm up before driving. Any thoughts?
