Default Electrical shutdown

Started my 2016 XLT today and all electronics completely went dead. HUD, NAV, radio, climate control, Windows, etc. The truck still ran and drove. About 10 minutes in the power returned but check engine light stayed on. Has anyone had similar issues or know what happened? I really don't have time to bring it in right now but if rather not get stranded if something serious is going on. Truck only has 4500 miles on it

Someone posted something very similar in the last week. Try to browse the first 5 pages or so of forum, if a search doesn't work.

I had the exact thing happen last week and drove right to ford since I was a mile away. They reprogramed the PCM and re-conaguard ABS module and cleared codes. That is what my paper work said. I have no idea what some of that means but the tech said my threw over 50 codes more than he had ever seen and others have had similar problems. He said it happens mostly when people jump another car but that was not my case. No problems since the fix.

Yeah, I didn't jump anyone either. Just came out of the gym, started the truck and bam, nothing there

Same here came out of Home Depot started the truck and noticed no dash lights or any others. The steering was a little harder and about 5 minutes later everything came on and then the wrench light came on.
