I had a really strange issue happen to my truck yesterday, wanted to see if it has has happened to anyone else. I had got in the truck and turned it on and when the engine fired up I got a message on the dash stating "e-brake on" (which it wasn't) and "Hill Start Unavailable" (the xlt doesn't have hill start as far as I'm aware.) So I sat there and turned off the truck and then let it sit and then started it back up to have the same issue repeat. So I got the sockets out and pulled the battery cable and then let it sit for a minute then hooked everything back up and turned the truck on again, this time no issues? Strange...I mean I haven't tampered with anything electrical related so I can't see why this was happening.

 

Nothing like that on mine...
